The strategic collaboration between Venture Cup and Innovation Centre Denmark originates from a joint vision of promoting, enhancing and internationalizing student entrepreneurship. We aim to support university entrepreneurs by giving them knowledge, tools and network to develop, test and scale their start-ups globally.
Once validated by Venture Cup, the university start-up can receive financial support to access Innovation Centre Denmark’s many offerings including consultancy and participation in tailor-made innovation camps creating access to knowledge, partners and investors at one of ICDK’s eight innovation centres in respectively Silicon Valley, Boston, Shanghai, Seoul, Tel Aviv, São Paulo, New Delhi/Bangalore and Munich.
“Danish university startups are increasingly born global with an international outlook even at the early stages, we are therefore excited that we can now offer them access, network and guidance internationally through our collaboration with the Danish Innovation Centres around the world,” says Venture Cup’s CEO Morten Ugelvig Andersen.
Venture Cup Denmark is an association of the Danish universities and acts as their common platform to support, inspire and showcase entrepreneurship. Innovation Centre Denmark specializes in international innovation and supports Danish start-ups in their business development and growth through eight, global innovation centres.
