On the first day, we went to Chalmers Atlantis to listen to about the Swedish startup ecosystem and had a super fun roleplay activity with experts from GU ventures in which we negotiated financial agreements.

Investors at GU Ventures, Anders Waas and Jan Pilebjer have many years of experiences in evaluating and selecting startups for investment, they came and shared what are the details that are often being neglected by startups but actually are vital elements when negotiating financial agreements.

Are you part of a HealthTech startup? Apply to our Nordic HealthTech Talents by June 1,2019 to be part of the game.

We also visit AstraZeneca BioVentureHub, learned about pharma product development, had an interesting dialogue with Q&Q labs and an Amazing Journey tour inside the AstraZeneca.

“There are a lot of really exciting things going on in Gothenburg. I wasn’t aware of this, but now Gothenburg, and AstraZeneca in particular, are on my radar.”-Said Toke Faurby, TresActio

  • TresActio makes biotechnology research faster and more efficient by digitizing early stages of the strain screening pipeline – adding automatic control and collecting data at an unprecedented scale.

In the evening, an interesting networking game took place at Chalmers Ventures with the local Swedish startups – The Dilemma Game! The startups exchange ideas about how to deal with different scenarios over pizza and beer.

Sweden has a very unique and vibrant ecosystem, and the startups were all very happy to learn more about the Swedish community. On Sunday, we have Adam Palmquist from Insert Coin to introduce how to integrate gamification in HealthTech.

Getting an opportunity to observe negotiations with an investor first hand and asking questions related to an actual case provided a lot of insights into what is expected of an investor presentation.” -Said Aleksander Moldt Haack, VenomAid Diagnostics.

  • VenomAid Diagnostics is a solution for rapid diagnosis of victims bitten by medically relevant snakes.
